We’re introducing a new ‘Contact us’ SMS to simplify client contact during the underwriting process
We’re making it easier and faster for you and your clients to complete applications by reducing medical requests and requirements wherever possible. As part of this, our underwriting team may need to contact your clients to clarify information in their application and confirm if extra medical requirements are needed.
We know it’s not always easy for your clients to answer calls during the working day, especially if they’re unexpected. That’s why we’re introducing a ‘Contact us’ SMS for situations where we haven’t been able to reach them by phone. The SMS will let them know we’ve tried to get in touch and encourages them to call us back at a convenient time. It’s another way we’re working to keep the application process running smoothly and reduce turnaround times for you and your clients.
Here's an example of the SMS your clients may receive. It will show the sender as ‘TAL Life’ and includes both the life insured’s name and application reference number. This SMS does not contain any website links. It will also show the name of the Underwriter who attempted to call and their contact number.
