A simpler way to manage commissions

We’re making it easier, clearer and more consistent to manage commissions across your entire portfolio.

Woman on laptop

On Tuesday 16 June 2026, we'll move TAL, Asteron and Protection Plans policies onto an updated commission management platform. This will give you a more streamlined experience for commission payments and reporting.

We’ve made these changes to reduce admin, support clearer reporting, and make reconciliation simpler across brands and portfolios.

Consistent, aligned commission payments

We’ll align commission payments across TAL, Asteron and Protection Plans and pay them on a consistent mid month and end of month cycle.

Instead of receiving multiple payments by brand, you’ll now receive a single, combined payment across all portfolios. This reduces the number of transactions to manage and makes payments easier to track.

We’ll make the first combined payment for TAL, Asteron and Protection Plans on Tuesday 16 June 2026. If you currently receive weekly commissions for Protection Plans policies, we made the final payment on Monday 1 June 2026 before moving to the new cycle. If you have multiple agreements, we’ll continue to make payments per agreement number.

Clearer, consolidated commission statements

We’ve refreshed your commission statements to make them easier to read and reconcile.

You’ll now see commission information across all brands in one consolidated statement, giving you a complete view of all commission activity in a single place. You will be able to view commission payable by brand in the CSV file and PDF statement.

Do I need to do anything?

For most advisers and licensees, no action is required.

Licensees

For licensees that use commission CSV files within internal systems, you may need to ensure your system can accommodate the two additional fields:

  • Commission rate
  • Commission type

Advisers

For advisers, depending on how commissions flow through your licensee, these changes may or may not affect you directly.

Please contact your licensee if you need additional information about your commission arrangement.
