The latest digital enhancements across TAC, IFM and myTAL
Digital Enhancements -Less admin, more control across TAC, IFM and myTAL
Over the past year, we've rolled out updates to the TAL Adviser Centre (TAC), Inforce Management (IFM) and myTAL (our customer self-service website) that reduce admin and paper, improving visibility and giving your clients more control.
Together, these platforms create a connected digital ecosystem that supports advisers and clients from the moment an application is submitted through to ongoing policy management and servicing.
Digital enhancements making a measurable difference
Together, TAC, IFM and myTAL create a connected digital ecosystem supporting advisers and clients from application through to ongoing policy management and servicing.
Online Health Questionnaire
Eligible clients are now choosing OHQ to complete their applications independently.
myTAL—client self-service
Self-service transactions completed online through myTAL.
Managing policies, all in one place
Some of the most meaningful improvements we've delivered have focused on helping advisers manage policies more efficiently once they're in force.
Manage Indexation in IFM
We've completely rebuilt the process for managing indexation across both IFM and myTAL, making it easier for you and your clients to manage policy adjustments.
Of course, you’ll keep full visibility of client-initiated requests, making sure you don’t have to spend time chasing up.
Asteron correspondence now available in IFM
Asteron Life correspondence dated 23 May 2026 onwards now sits in IFM alongside your policy servicing activities.
Instead of hunting through emails or waiting for post, you can get your hands on the client letters and documents you’re looking for in just a few clicks.
Enhancing the new business journey in TAC
Eligible clients now have the option to complete their Health & Lifestyle Questionnaire online, rather than doing it with you or over the phone with our Tele-Interview team.
This gives you another way to move applications through as quickly as possible, and you can track progress in TAC so you know where things are at.
Giving clients more control through myTAL
Your clients can access policy information, download documents, update personal details, manage payment information and securely access their account using multi-factor authentication.
Eligible clients can also now submit certain policy downgrade requests digitally through myTAL. And of course, these requests will be available for you to view in IFM, keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
